Fluoroelastomers DAI-EL price increase announcement

Global demand for FKM fluoroelastomers continues to increase globally as more applications require the unique properties of this high-value class of materials.  As a result, additional global capacity to meet this growing demand will be required.  Daikin Industries, Ltd., a leading supplier of fluoroelastomers, is committed to supporting the industry and our customers by making the necessary investments to provide the highest quality DAI-EL fluoroelastomers to the markets we serve. 

 

In addition, we have been implementing improvement as well as modification for our production facility, in order to recognize environmental load-reduction, and is working on to introduce and develop advanced technology, new product to contribute to the circulated society.

 

Despite the fact that Daikin Industries, Ltd., has been making its best effort to streamline its cost management to avoid price increase, current situation is beyond our effort, under yearly rising costs, such as feedstock, transportation cost.

 

In order to make these necessary investments a reality, we will be working with our customers on price actions to support this investment for both Daikin’s and our customer’s future.  Your local Account Representative will be contacting you over the next few weeks to discuss what this may mean to you and how we can work collaboratively to support this effort.
